Program Overview

Students completing this curriculum are eligible to apply for positions in government or the private sector relating to administration and management of family services programs, management of family resources, consumer economics, and nursery school and kindergarten teaching. Employment opportunities exist in business, cooperative extension, education, programs for the elderly, consumer agencies, media, and federal, state, and local governments.

* If 2 course natural science sequence is taken in the life sciences, the additional 3 hour natural science course must be from the physical sciences, and vice versa. Courses marked with + are a requirement for the human services management concentration.
Courses marked with ++ are a requirement for the early childhood administration and leadership concentration.
